Loan Documentation Specialist
bankcda is seeking person with strong Commercial, Consumer and SBA loan preparation and documentation skills. Coordinates the preparation of loan documents in compliance with bank policy, procedures and regulatory guidelines. Communications with staff, counsel, title companies to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain additional documents needed to complete the file in a timely manner.
· Prepare loan documents, Book and Disburse Loans
· Assist Loan Officers and/or Loan Assistants in Set up of Loan Files
· Perfect Collateral
· Prepare reports for Management and the Board of Directors
· Prepare SBA 1502 Report
· Pay Bills and Post Loan Payments
· Reconcile loan accounts to the General Ledger
· Assist Customers with loan servicing related questions
· Other Loan Support Duties as Directed
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of two years loan documentation experience including processing and documentation of complex commercial transactions.
Must demonstrate knowledge of applicable lending regulations and compliance. Must have experience with “Laser Pro” documentation software
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to communicate effectively with lenders and other loan support staff to efficiently serve our customer needs.
Identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret technical instructions, laws and regulations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Precision/FISERV is preferred.
Must work well with deadlines. The ability to prioritize is critical. Must have attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
